C & H Livestock is located near Gause, Texas about 40 miles Northwest of Bryan/College Station or 45 miles South of Temple in Milam County in Central Texas. Craig, Holly Jentsch with sons, Matthew, John and David, owns C & H Livestock.
We have been raising show cattle since 1987, but have been in the cattle business all our lives. Craig showed and owned Maine Anjou cattle in partnership with his family, River Haven Ranch, Hearne Texas. We began our club calf herd by purchasing registered Angus cattle originating from Quirk Land and Cattle Company via Pete & Buck White of Oklahoma. Show market goats and dairy goats were added in 1997.

In 1996, Sanderson Farms moved into Central Texas. This looked like a good opportunity for Holly to earn an income and still be a stay-at-home mom plus supplement the income Craig had as a teacher. We started growing broilers for Sanderson Farms, Inc on September 7, 1997. We were number 19 to come on line.
